Important information for anyone employing the use of a Funeral Director...

The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is introducing a new Legal Order which requires all Funeral Directors to display a breakdown of their costs for products and services they offer both on their websites and in their offices, and which must be in place by 16th September 2021.

The Legal Order is  designed to help bereaved families compare funeral costs and make an informed choice of Funeral Director.

We at WJ O’Donnell & Sons Funeral Directors welcome this change, as it will reassure all bereaved families, that there will be no additional or surprising costs added to their funeral of choice.

It's not wrong or disrespectful to think about the Funeral Costs.

Our Prices Explained:

WJ O’Donnell & Sons Funeral Directors are proud to be among the first in Northern Ireland to fully comply with this Legal Order. In order to make an informed choice, it is most important to compare all Funeral Director’s “prices and service levels”, before choosing which one will care for your deceased loved one.
